Firing Guidelines
-
One shelf refers to kiln space with a maximum height of 6 inches. Pieces taller than 6 inches will be counted as two shelves.

Firing schedules are subject to kiln availability. Please consult the studio manager before submitting work for firing.

Mark your pieces clearly to avoid misidentification.

Ensure pieces are completely dry before firing.

Glaze responsibly — avoid runny glazes and wipe the bottom of your pieces.

Clean your workspace after glazing to maintain a tidy studio.

Follow studio safety protocols and handle materials with care.

Shelf Damage Due to Glaze Runs - If a piece damages the kiln shelf due to excessive glaze application, a fee of ₹2,000 per affected shelf will be charged.
Open Studio Services
Our Open Studio facility offers a welcoming and well-equipped space for ceramic artists and enthusiasts to work independently. Whether you’re refining your skills, experimenting with new ideas, or completing ongoing projects, our studio provides the ideal environment for your creative journey.
Facilities Available

Pottery Wheels, Slab Roller & Worktables- Shimpo wheels for throwing, a slab roller for even clay slabs, and sturdy tables for hand-building and sculpting.

Essential Tools- Basic tools are available. You're welcome to bring your own for added comfort.

Glazing Area- A ventilated space with brushes, tongs, and containers. Studio glazes are available at a nominal cost, or bring your own.

Personal Shelf Space- Members get dedicated shelf space for work-in-progress and materials.

Books & Magazines- Browse our growing library of ceramic books and magazines for reference and inspiration.

Studio Guidelines
🕒 Booking & Usage

Pre-book your sessions and complete payments in advance.

All sessions must be used within the plan’s validity period. Unused sessions or firing credits cannot be carried forward, refunded, or extended.

Shelf space and tool storage are provided for the duration of your plan.

Studio timings: Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM. Closed on Sundays.
🧱 Clay & Materials

Unlimited clay usage (stoneware grey or brown) is included in all plans except the daily pass. Clay can be purchased separately at the studio or brought in by daily users.

Slip will be collected and recycled by the studio - please do not discard clay or pour it down the drain. Use designated disposal containers.

Glaze usage charges are separate. You're welcome to bring your own glazes.

Bring your own wax resist for glaze work.

🛠️ Studio Conduct & Cleanliness

Bring your own apron and personal tools. Studio tools are available - please handle them with care and return them clean.

Label your tools and work to avoid confusion.

Clean your entire workspace after use, including wheels, tables, tools, and glazing area..

Follow all studio safety protocols and be respectful of others working around you.
