About the workshop

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and create your own handmade pottery in a small, supportive studio environment. -No prior experience required -All clay, glazing and firing included -Take home 4 finished ceramic pieces -Basic pottery toolkit included -Small batch learning What's Included ​ -10 guided sessions (3 hours each) -All clay, tools and studio materials -Glazing and firing of up to 4 finished pieces -Personal guidance in a small batch setting -A pottery toolkit to take home ​ What You'll Learn ​ -Centering clay on the wheel -Throwing cylindrical forms -Trimming and refining forms -Attaching handles to mugs and vessels -Creating functional pottery such as mugs, tumblers and planters -Glazing and finishing your work ​ What You'll Take Home ​ -5 finished ceramic pieces -A beginner's pottery toolkit -Strong wheel throwing fundamentals -The confidence to continue creating pottery independently ​ What to Bring ​ An apron is recommended. Everything else is provided by the studio.​
